Screen What You Have or Start Fresh

If you have a covered patio or deck, we may be able to screen it in. We check the posts, the roof and the floor first. If there is no roof yet, we build the deck, the cover and the screen as one project.

Picking Screen

Standard bug screen lets in the most breeze and light. Heavier sun screen blocks more heat on a west facing porch. Pet screen holds up to claws. We can mix them, using sun screen on the hot side and bug screen on the rest.

Doors and Floors

A screen door should close on its own and latch tight. We can add a pet door. Under foot, wood or composite deck boards both work. Small gaps under the screen are where bugs get in, so we seal the bottom edge.

Permits for Enclosures
